1. Who We Are

Easy2SFX Pro is operated by Alon Saranga Post Production Ltd, based in Israel. We provide an AI-powered sound effects generation platform for video editors at https://easy2sfxpro.com. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at support@easy2sfx.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture via Google OAuth.
  • Usage data: Session history, generated sound effects, prompts, and uploaded video files you submit to generate audio.
  • Credit balance: Your purchased credit balance stored in Firebase Firestore.
  • Payment data: We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details. Payment processing is handled entirely by our payment processors (see Section 5). We store only the transaction outcome (credits added, package purchased).
  • Technical data: Browser type, IP address, and error logs as needed to maintain service reliability.

  • To authenticate you and maintain your account
  • To generate and deliver sound effects using your prompts and uploaded content
  • To manage your credit balance and process purchases
  • To send transaction receipts and invoices to your email address
  • To improve and operate the Service

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. Payment Processing

We use third-party payment processors to handle all payment transactions. We never directly handle, store, or transmit your full credit card number or financial account details.

  • PayPal: For USD and international payments, we use PayPal. When you pay via PayPal, you are subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy. PayPal may collect your name, email, billing address, and payment method. We receive confirmation of payment and transaction ID only.
  • iCount: For ILS and regional payments, we use iCount, an Israeli payment gateway. Transactions are subject to iCount's privacy terms. We receive payment confirmation and may generate a tax invoice (חשבונית מס) sent to your email.

Transaction records (amount paid, package purchased, date) are retained for legal and accounting purposes in accordance with applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Generated sound files and uploaded videos are stored temporarily on our infrastructure and are subject to automatic deletion after a retention period (currently 35 days for uploaded videos, 14 days for sessions without activity). You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@easy2sfx.com.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage and session storage to maintain your authentication state and user preferences (e.g. theme, compact mode). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Firebase Authentication uses secure, HttpOnly cookies for session management.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Firebase Authentication, and Google Cloud Secret Manager for API credentials. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we strive to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at support@easy2sfx.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
